.travis.yml: Start building discourse on ruby 2.0. Local build shows gre... (PR #517)

Why not? 2.0.0 is going to be de facto by the time we go “live.”

A local rspec run goes green

You’ve signed the CLA, kid0m4n. Thank you! This pull request is ready for review.

Is there any way we can run specs against 1.9.3 and 2.0.0? Because that would be ideal for the time being.

this is the right thing to do, my only reservation is that it slows down our build process. but I can live with it for now.

@eviltrout this tests on both

Yep… this should test on both platforms. I reckon we can move out “1.9.3” after a while on “2.0.0”

@eviltrout Also, devs can stick to either and rely on travis to build on both.

But a simple rbenv/rvm switch and retest can server the immediate need to test on both rubies locally.

Maybe I will script this out.

lets try it out :slight_smile:

it should do it in parallel if we are lucky

Hmm, I can’t find any references in Travis docs towards this (whether they paralelize the build matrix or not.)

But I am sure (if push comes to shove), the tddium guys won’t mind sponsoring this project :+1:
